God Rewards Those Who Seek Him

When I first believed in Jesus, I devoured the Bible. God's Word fed my soul. The more I sought Him, the more He revealed Himself to me. I realized I was no longer the same person. My thoughts, desires, and actions had changed.

God desires friendship with you, too. As you seek Him through the Word, He will speak and answer your prayers. He loves to make the Bible come alive!

To experience transformation, you must read the Bible! Here are some tips:

• Choose a readable translation like the New International, English Standard, or New Living Translation.

• Find a regular time and place to meet with God.

• Start small: One chapter in John or three chapters a day.

• Jump between the Old and New Testaments.

• Apply what you learn each day. Let it sink into your heart.

You Can Rely on God's Promises

Every promise in the Bible belongs to the followers of Jesus. Claim them by faith! In sickness, depression, fear, or uncertainty, I turn to God's promises. Those key verses anchor me like an unbreakable steel cable.

Whatever situation arises, I find a promise to stand on. Internalize Scripture by repeating verses over and over. You can trust God's Word completely. It will never fail you.
